  1. Because I created this thread. Religious discussions here lead to nasty arguments especially given the topic here, it could get real nasty.
  2. YES, we are discussing political/cultural views, hence the term DESI, and you are welcome to post those here.
  3. I don't care about religion but understanding religion helps me understand my community, my people. This is the only reason I care about it. :)
  4. This isn't meant to be a serious discussion, which is why I asked to keep religion out of it.

  5. Definitions-
    Liberal- *a. * Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.
    *b. * Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded

    Conservative-

    ** a. ** Favoring traditional views and values; tending to oppose change.

** b. ** Traditional or restrained in style: a conservative dark suit.

    Moderate - 
                 **a.** not extreme or excessive; within due or reasonable limits moderate demands
                 **b.** (Government, Politics & Diplomacy) a person who holds moderate views, esp in politics

Sensibly Liberal: Freedom for all within limit.

umm i would need options to choose from..for I don’t know how many of the aunty-numas are really aunties when the meaningless number age is considered :halo: and on the downside even my ‘aapi/baji’ status has changed to aunty now (rishte mei obviously :p)
