Just trying to understand their criteria for imparting justice. In Sindh, PP76, PMLN candidate is declared the winner by overturning the polling results, which were previously in favor of PPP candidate. Throughout the judgement, I didnt see any mention of a vote recount/audit, and the reasons used by the judge for overturning the decision (not announcing re-election) were things like
And when similar arguments are placed by PTI against PMLN in Punjab, they are thrown away as circumstantial? And in many cases, PTI evidences are much more hardcore (video and photographic) Liaquat Jatoi declared winner on PS-76 - Pakistan - DAWN.COM
Re: Liaqat Jatoi declared winner by Election tribunal
And heres the conundrum.
Election tribunal investigating PP240-Bahawalpur, where an independent candidate had challenged the victory of PMLN candidate has voided the election and** ordered a re-election.
**So for situation going against PMLN, a re-election, while for a situation going in favor of PMLN, the PMLN guy is declared the winner. Wonder what brand of justice are these folks practicing here? Are we back to the Sharif courts era?
