Just trying to understand their criteria for imparting justice. In Sindh, PP76, PMLN candidate is declared the winner by overturning the polling results, which were previously in favor of PPP candidate. Throughout the judgement, I didnt see any mention of a vote recount/audit, and the reasons used by the judge for overturning the decision (not announcing re-election) were things like

**constituency was rigged and engineered because the PPP had been in power before the caretaker setup.
**sub-divisional education officers were close associates of the PPP candidate who were instrumental in the appointment of polling staff favorable to her
**associates of the PPP candidate removed forcibly his polling agents from many polling stations
**in the absence of Rangers and armed forces and his agents, who had earlier been removed and manhandled, his rival and her agents committed bogus voting at the 42 polling stations mentioned in the petition
**PPP candidate managed to procure hundreds of ballot papers’ books and stamps which were later used to cast illegal votes

And when similar arguments are placed by PTI against PMLN in Punjab, they are thrown away as circumstantial? And in many cases, PTI evidences are much more hardcore (video and photographic)

Now what would the ‘free and fair elections’ group say? Liaqat Jatoi had secured 22000 votes as compared to the PPP candidate who got 56000.

And heres the conundrum.
Election tribunal investigating PP240-Bahawalpur, where an independent candidate had challenged the victory of PMLN candidate has voided the election and** ordered a re-election.

**So for situation going against PMLN, a re-election, while for a situation going in favor of PMLN, the PMLN guy is declared the winner. Wonder what brand of justice are these folks practicing here? Are we back to the Sharif courts era?
