he s pardoned but the crime still stays.. same as Nawaz Sharif was pardoned and allowed to leave the country.. Nawaz has to clear himself (of course with the help of his old friend Khawaj Sharif.. who wont leave Punjab in any case) to contest elections..
So he'll go, and with his powers as interior minister, pressurize everyone to withdraw the case against him... it could have been god move, considering Rehman Malik resigns from his post...
In Pakistan normally, if you file a case against a inspector, he makes your life hell to withdraw it, imagine what would a interior minister can do or would do....

Selective Justice is still better than 'no' justice at all, as evident in Musharraf's reign of terror where there was no justice at all.
