very imp news…while most of us denounce altaf hussain politics and sick of his pathetic speeches and part of me is happy to hear these news, i am also concerned if is it is fair? we have not see such a ban since zia ul haq days…what if other politicians face same predicament in future?
I am also afraid that this will make MQM more stronger. Will LHC show the same enthusiasm and ban the hate mongering mullahs from propagating hatred through loudspeakers?
plus why LHC? why not a ban from supreme court of pakistan ? ban from LHC will again send a wrong message to sindh.

Yeah why don't you post a list of Mullahs arrested and banned for hate mongering speech from Lahore to Peshawar? Don't have to indulge in stock filling whataboutery every time.
Frankly speaking, people are getting sick of hearing this will make MQM stronger, that will make MQM stronger, falan will make MQM stronger etc as way of discouraging any concrete actions against them. MQM has been on it's death bed since 9-0 raid. Yes they will always the same old ghetto votes on the basis of ethnicity, but they are no longer the destructive, manipulating, evil and anti Pakistan that once used to be, and that's what it matters at the end of the day.
It is not unfair at all, we are in a state of war and last batch of Altaf Hussain speeches fell into top tier category of serious incitement of terrorist violence. MQM is lucky that party didn't get banned despite receiving funds from RAW and the whole army of target killers being found in their ranks.

It is LHC because the application was filed in LHC.
No one in Sindh was bothered enough to call Altaf Hussain out for anti Pakistan venom, even if they did, the advocate and his whole legal team would have got murdered. Just like MQM on the fifth anniversary of 92 operation killed 200 police officers who took part in the operation, in one single month.
When this fascist thug threatens DG Rangers of receiving a violent end, which madman from Sindh will file a reference against this monstrous traitor?

No idea but even if one provincial court ruling holds true in other provinces, in this particular case at least such ruling should have come from supreme court of pakistan instead of lahore high court. whoever filed that case in LHC did not do anything wise. He shd have filed it in supreme court unless there is a requirement to file in provincial courts first for such cases.
