Anyone has it?
I am thinking about switching my Note 3 for a LG G3. The store rep at tmobile was very happy with the same switch.

re: LGG3 vs Note 4
Got myself one yesterday. Will use it and report back here.
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
I have used it for few days, incredible display and good camera, and that's it. The phone, mostly display overheats a lot, weak battery for the display size and resolution, and the LG UI looks terrible.
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
I was actually able to use the phone normally (talking, internet browsing etc) for a whole day without having to keep it on charge. I couldnt do that with any of my previous phones (samsung, apple). Havent had any issues with the over heating either.
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
i did the same switch back in July. I really really like that phone. But then the Note 4 came out. :)
But I have the G3 SIM unlocked so i use that when i'm travelling. I love the camera on it and the double tap on the screen is awesome. Quad-HD is something to write about as well.
Didn't have any issues with the battery. It lasts the whole day. But i have a spare one in my bag just in case. Good switch JK.
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
Yeah.........puts head down in shame
I made the switch back to Samsung. I just wasnt clicking with the LG phone like I did with the Note series. I was at the Tmobile store yesterday trying to get a guy to switch to LG g3. Even sold him my otterbox that I got for LG. Tmobile also lowered the price for the note 4 which was push enough for me to go back to samsung. I am not sure if I will do it again when they come out with Note 5 and go the apple route like they did with the S6.
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
I was really looking forward to the G3, but all I’ve heard is bad things… Mainly the same as mentioned above. ![]()
And so disappointed in the s6 ![]()
Looks like I’ll be snatching the Note 4 as well! @us1415, could you post a review, Por favor?
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
Not much change from Note 3 but I was really happy with the screen as usual. I havent played a lot with the phone yet but I like it so far. The UI is faster, pictures are better, there is private mode where you can hide your photos and videos from other people playing with your phone (I really liked the guest feature of the LG g3). Just got me a 128GB microSD card that I will be using with the Note 4. Will post more later.
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
i have a Note 4. Pictures are OSM. I really liked the Note 3 and this one has everything that one had and now its super-charged. The screen is quad-HD, giving a really clear screen. And that sucker is fast. I really throw everything to my phones, this guy just kept going.
Last month I put CyanogenMod 12 on it as I just had to have Lollipop. It kinda broke my connection (BT LE) to my Samsung Gear Live watch, but i'm just taken with LP.
The design of the phone is great as well. Overall its a definite buy, if you can swing the big screen.
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
Thanks guys!! @us1415 & @TofiBaba
I use my phone for absolutely everything… Other than occasional phone calls.
I’ve hesitated for a while with going with a phablet mainly because I’m afraid of looking like a complete idiot holding a wallet sized object to my face
But I think it’s time to get over it.
My hands are kind of small, so I’m sure holding the phone will take a bit of getting use to. I did see the “hidden” 1-hand feature. So shouldn’t be too bad? right? Do you guys use it? Useful?
Also, I’m pretty sure I’ll feel like a tool using the stylus. -_-’
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
On the contrary MM, Note 4 is a tool, with the stylus being a very handy attachment. I have meetings and assessments where i can not only write but draw diagrams and clients are blown away with how efficient the notes look.
People would think and say things no matter what you do. So why not just enjoy your preferred gadget anyway. I am actually going with an even bigger phone this week (Nexus6). It won't have a stylus or an SD card slot so i'm a bit apprehensive. But the size of the device and what people would think never went into it.
But if this still bothers you, get a nice headset and a watch which announces who's calling and you never have to take the phone out of your pocket/bag :)
re: LGG3 vs Note 4
I agree with Tofi. I have had every single Note that has come out and I love it. The size of it has now ruined all the other phones. If you look at it this way that apple had to come out with a iphone plus just to compete with Note series should be enough for you to see how big the note series following is. This phone is an attachment of me and I use it for everything. Having a note makes it possible.
Re: LGG3 vs Note 4
SOLD!!!
Lol
You guys are right. I need it for everything but phone calls so that shouldn’t. E an issue. the size has more pros vs cons.
Insha Allah, will report back once it’s in my possession and I’ve played around with it some! ![]()
Thank you fellas!
Re: LGG3 vs Note 4
Any updates yet?
Re: LGG3 vs Note 4
@MM Anything yet?
Re: LGG3 vs Note 4
So, so sorry @us1415!!
I did spend some time with the Note 4. I did love it! BUT… I should have stuck with my gut. Phablets aren’t or me
I’m sure for guys or anyone with bigger hands it’s not an issue.
So… Now I’m leaning towards the Droid Turbo.
Over all, I’m not a fan of Droids. BUT the Turbo has had some raving reviews. From what I’ve read/ seen, I haven’t seen many (actually any) bad reviews.
And the specs speak for them self!
And like I said before, I’m CONSTANTLY on the phone. So the “2 day mixed-usage” on a single charge" claim will sure be tested to its limits! lol
So, Insha Allah, once I get my hands on the Turbo, I shall post my thoughts. ![]()
