Lewis running scared of Tyson??

Tyson has ben granted a boxing licence by the State of Georgia, although there are still other venues being considered.

Lewis has responded by stating he won’t fight Tyson unless he agrees to see a shrink. I am not going to comment too much on the rights and wrongs of this issue, as tyson is clearly a disturbed fella. But then he has been disturbed for a a long time and yet he stll gets to climb through those ropes due to PUBLIC DEMAND.

Frankly, i have always thought that lewis is a glass-jawed pansy. if he ever musters enough courage to get in the same ring with tyson, I predict he will get his clock cleaned inside six rounds.

Lewis may be a bogus champ but tyson is a bogus contender, what has he really accomplished in oh lets say the last 5-6 years.

Tyson is only used at nibbling on small potatoes. illustrated by lack of any real fights against any real competitors in a looooong time.

Yeah he may eat lewis…but it would be ina completely different sense of the word

*Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson are likely to fight at Memphis' Pyramid Arena on June 8.
American cable network Showtime confirmed the new date and venue for the richest fight in history after both boxers finally put pen to paper. *

The bout had originally been planned for Las Vegas in April but Tyson's past exploits led to him being refused a licence by Nevada's boxing officials.

Washington, Los Angeles, Michigan, Georgia, Houston and a whole host of major cities the world over were put forward as potential alternatives.

But the guessing game came to an end as Memphis was chosen to stage the WBC, IBF and IBO heavyweight title match-up.

Lewis said: "Lewis-Tyson is the match-up the whole world has been waiting for. I am confident I will cement my legacy when I dispose of Tyson on June 8."

But Tyson hit back: "On June 8, I guarantee I will knock Lewis out and regain my heavyweight championship."

Memphis mayor Willie Herenton said: "Memphis is elated to be the host city of this great sporting event."

Frank Maloney has described this fight as past it's sell by date. lewis is 36 and tyson is 35. even so, public demand has ensured (as predicted) that the fight will go ahead.

Frank warren, Tyson's former promoter has also come out in print as describing Lewis of running scared. does lewis already realise he's gonna get creamed?

Lewis changed a bit after that loss to Rahman and will not take anything lightly...
