Do you hold hands?
Hug each other?
Sit on the couch together?
Flirt?
Kiss in front of your kids?
Is a somewhat of a DESI faux pas
What is the level of physcial affection that you feel is appropriate to display in front of your children? (actually any children - nephews and nieces included)
I know! If hubby ever sits close to me, the 2 of tem have to adjust themselves somewhere in between...in fact the little one climbs up on his lap and marks her territory and says "my papi." And if I say "my husband" she holds him tighter and says "no but MYYY papeeee." It's so darn cute!
u dont havta open an in laws thread cuz there is already one :D
our osn is only 9 months so knows jack.. but he laffs like mad when the husband and i kiss.. lol.. every single time.. and not just giggle but a full blown hysterical laff.. hehe
but we wont be doing any kissy wissy when he can understand what is going on... though sitting on the couch together or hugging is perfectly normal for me atleast.. io grew up seeing my folks always hugging each other, or holding each other by their wiasts... my mom even now lies down on the couch with her head lying in my daddy's gaudi whilst he strokes her hair.. whilst we all watch tv. i dont know.. never have found it odd. it also provided us kids with a very very positive image of how loving a marriage can be and all of us looked fwd to sharing the same bond with our spouses..
I forget my hsuband when I am around my nephwes or niece. It's like he doesn't even exist. I wonder if I will be same when we have kids. I usually get lost in kids world and hubby is out. :-(
