Letter to Astros Owner:Pathetic Astros.

Now being a native of Houston, I am well accustomed to heart break and anguish caused by the professional sports team of this town, but, this Astros team has provided us with a new definition of pathetic. My oh my how they have fallen from the top of the division with a 21-11 start and now 2 games under .500.
I cannot take this anymore, Drayton have mercy on us and start the firesale already. Lets start by trading Carlos Beltran and Jeff Kent. I know you will not trade Rocket, becasue he puts fannies in th seat, but I cannot help but wonder what Roger thinks of this tem and maybe he wants to go play for a contender. Next step will be to ask Jeff Bagwell to hang up his cleats, he is done…put a fork in him. Jeff you provided us with delightful career, sadly, your time is over. Night after night these oh fer are not cutting it. Lets put Berkman at first base, Jason lane in center and call up chris burke to play 2nd base. Lets give these young guys a chance, afterall they are the future …which is next year…why put of something untill tomorrow if you can do it.

Sincerley.

Extremly dis-heartend fan

on paper this Astros team is so talented and much better and stronger than the one that won 3 straight NL Central under Larry Dierker. I am just amazed at their failure. Biggio and Bagwell have always been chokers in big games and big moments but Beltran, Kent, Berkman are still very good. before the season started i rated their pitching staff as best in the league with Clemens, Petite, Oswald and Miller.. its amazing how they have all managed to sucked all together..

Houston - you have a problem.

There's not hope for them. The Astros are crap, therefore should be shut down.

PS: My above statement is utter BS. I just want them out so that there's less competition for the Yanks and Mets. ;)

I heard that by trading clemens to boston, they can get nomar garciapara in return. I say add bagwell to the package and get a decent pitcher in return.
