Re: Lets share Jinn stories
The barrier is there, but it is one-sided. Jinns can see humans. Which is why Quran talks about Shaytan and his tribe being able to see us from where we can not see them. But Quran also gives us protection against them in the form of Surah Baqarah, Surah Ikhlas, Surah Falaq, and Surah Nas. It beehoves us to recite Bismillah before doing anything so that it starts with Allah’s blessed name so that it benefits us.
Secondly about being afraid of the Jinn. I’m sorry to spoil it for you (Please don’t hate me :() but jinns may be around you all day without you even realizing. I’m serious. The hope is that if you maintain a state of cleanliness, do zikr of Allah even if in your heart silently, recite quran frequently then no evil ones can enter your home or come near you without the will of Allah. And only the good jinns inhabit your living space, or join you in your salah.
There are many masjids where jinns pray side by side humans and we don’t even realize it.
Everytime you turn to your right and say As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah, and same to your left shoulder after completion of rakaat, there could be a jinn replying right back to you. Some food for thought.
Do not be afraid of them. Humans are Ashraf-ul-Makhlookat and blessed by Allah from our very creation, which is why Shaytaan hated to prostrate before our father; Adam. Which is proof enough that Allah (swt) honored Humans by making us from the most beautiful of the creation on earth, and superior to other creation including Jinn.
Sweet Dreams!..and if you miss your Fajr salah, know that it is entirely possible your jinn friends came and paid you a little visit and made you miss your salah by telling your nafs to keep sleeping; the night is still long, and plenty of time left for Fajr. :halo:
