Let's learn to trust each other

“Sorry! You cannot send that message at the moment because the administrator has specified that you may only send one message every 60 seconds.” <<

Why has the administrator specified how many messages I can send in sixty seconds? Are you afraid that we’ll go bonkers and bring down the Gupshup server by trying to send thousands of messages every minute (Is it even possible?)

I dont have a big problem with it if you have imposed the limit for a good reason, but maybe you should look into changing it if it’s just there by default and no one ever bothered to change it?

You let me send more than one message in sixty seconds and I tell you who let the dogs out. Do we have a deal?

The flood control setting is certainly not an unnoticed default. It is part of our over-all site protection plan. It has little to do with not trusting our members, but rather to allow them to post by keeping the site up and free of unwanted attacks. :)

Nahi ji Nahi Sir, I am talking about the 'private messages' and not posts.

^site attacks may take the form of mass pming all and sundry under the sun :sunny: isi liay to kehte hain matric theek se parha hota. Nalaiq! :stuck_out_tongue:
