In this thread, we’ll cover the following topics with an authentic hadiths, step by step to get more knowledge about our prayers (Namaaz / Salaath) and discuss it further with each others to gain more knowledge. However, if required, we’ll open a separate thread if discussion on a topic goes longer.
Kindly note that information related to these topics must be quoted with source (authentic).
**Main Topics are:
Niyat (intention) ke Masail
Namaaz ki Farziyat
Namaaz ki Fazeelat
Namaaz ki Ahmiyat, and many more which will be posted after these.
**What is Niyat (intention)? Niyat (intention) is intention in heart and not uttering loudly. Niyat (intention) is connected to knowledge. If a person knows what he is doing then he has obviously made an intention. It cannot be imagined, if he knows what he wants to do, that he has not formed an intention.
Hadith Book Revelation of Sahih al-Bukhari Hadith 1
Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."
Making Niyat (Intention) by uttering a loud is not even logical nor reasonable and doing such is an act of innovation in religious commitment. Moreover, a person who wants to drink a cup of tea won’t say that "I intend to drink tea by putting tea-bag in hot water with mixing sugar & milk, then pour it into a white or any other cup, then I’ll drink slowly slowly etc.,
