He's so useless that you have to open a thread to blow his horn? Everybody knows he's a great batsman, but if you think that playing "top scoring innings under pressure" merits a special mention, then maybe deep down you think he's not that great of a player. Shouldn't playing such an innings already be in the job description? If not, what would differentiate between an ordinary player and a great player?

Say what you will...but he is not the same Tendu of yester-years - who will straight-drive McGrath over the sight-screen for a SIX.
He appears to be over-cautious these days...particularly when approaching land marks..often leading to his downfall... but I don't mind him being in the team....simply because there is no potential replacement of equal calibre(even with his current form) out there. Plus his bowling is always a bonus in the one-dayers.

Tendulkar is an real Smart guy for not scoring a century and winning the game for India, as some Guppies Claim,
But on the other hand, the Pakistani Team were really stupid, why would they get him out when (as per popular belief every time he scores a 100 India Loses:cb: ), he was on 95, I would think that they would let him get a 100 and than sit back on their laurels and just win the match:p

Sachin as finisher debate has made lots of noise, please understand he opens the innings doesn't bat 3 or4 down. If he scores match is won easily hence no issue of finisher...
Above point was made by Imran Khan in one of the interviews, it has come logic to it...
Trash him since he is asking Rs. 30 crore for one year endorsement deals.......

Its funny how roaches like crummy crawl out to applaud tendi and others. Where were your arses when he failed repeatedly in the test matches? Did any of you INdians bother to applaud Salman Butt's inning in the first match? Did any of you hyocrites say anything good about Shoaib's innings in all 3 ODIs? No. So keep your mouth shut and enjoy the ride.

Yes I did not applaud Malik in the second ODI, because I personally felt he cheated when he kicked the Ball, otherwise, I for one have always given credit where its been due.
So my suggestion to you is dont spoil the respect I have for you, make sure you know what you are talking about.

So you think he cheated, when your team's captain said that "Shoaib did not interfere". By the same token, I should say that Sachin should have been caught by Akmal at 40 something and we should not be having this conversation.

Brother there is no doubting the fact tht Shoaib played very intelligent knocks in all the three one dayers and I feel he is the biggest asset pak have before the world cup....
But the fact of the matter is u would want to talk about players of your own team more than any other team...and Sachin and his form has been the topic of discussion in Indian media and abroad...So I guess tht is why this thread was brought about...

The reason we all are here is to have some representation of ure own team and because u have such a great interest in the game itself...u comment about players and performances of other teams as well....and in this case...the opposing team is Pakistan itself...So it feels great to hear the opinions and sometimes very intelligent ones from the other side as well..not just the biased view from your own country people...

Let us assume for a minute that we dont appreciate good play from pakistani players. But atleast we dont go around bashing world best player from opposing team after He has scored a century and his team lost. Forget it, we dont even bash players like Inzi & Yoyo even if they failed repeteadly. So before you open your mouth educate those idiots who dont hesitate to open Sachin or Sehwag bashing thread because most of the time it comes back to bite them in their ass.
I have already noticed that many of them have already hiding in their caves. Those who are not hiding are just posting 1 post/ day out of shame. This thread is just to piss of them. If you are not one of them then stay away and take chill pill.
