Though I am a big fan of Junoon! LEKIN Junoon doesnt come anywhere close to Vital signs and that to because of Junaid bhayee! Singing, personality all adds up to a great man! And that is Junaid!
I respect Salman Ahmed Equally, but then again there is Ali Azmat. Need I further say more...

I agree. Vital SIGNS you never get tired of live or audiom Junoon is good for those hyper active moments.
But I dont feel this is a fair question because both groups sing different types of songs.

I totally agree on what you have to say about listening to Junoon and Vital signs!
Lekin justifying my post and comparison between the two. Number one Well these are the two major bands from Pakitan. And they have one more thing in common and that is Salman Ahmad! Besides I have this "hasrat" to see both Junoon and Vital Signs perform together. Actually it is more like Salman performing with Rohail, Shehzad and Junaid.

before starting, i would at the moment leave the personality behind.
in my opinion JUNOON and Vital Signs/Junaid Jamshed, they are 2 totallly different type of bands, well junoon ki music ki baat hai, junaid bhai ki awaaz, well ab in both cases according to junoon's music ali azmat ki awaaz suit karegi, junaid ki awaaz maza nahin degi, well for junaid's voice then there is different type of music, so it will be reallly hard to compare these 2, lekin at the moment aisa koi nahin hai ke any1 can be compared between these 2, no way
well for me they both are totally different and therefore cant just simply say that ke ye acha hai ya woh
well ofcourse Salmans guitaring and Junaid's voice will make a hell lot of difference, i have seen VS n Junoon performing together, it was reallly awsome, bohut maza aaya tha in tha concert, i would reallly like to see it again!!!

Junoon & Vital Signs both have a lot of capibility. However, Vital Signs' music stretches further out then Junoon and appeals to all moods and all ages. Junoon's music is locked more into the 'Malangi' sort of mood. They can be quite loud at times and one has to be in the mood to hear such loud music. I like Junoon's sufiana music like "Saeein." Salman Ahmed & Junaid Jamshed have been known to be best of friends and I think Salman Ahmed had probably gained a lot of experience from being with Vital Signs. He had witnessed the climax of their fame. And when he joined hands with Junoon he just took a bit of that essence from VS, thru his experience with them and added it to Junoon. That's why there is a bit of similarity between VS and Junoon (just a bit) with the fame and blending of some of the western tunes into the eastern.

I would say Vital Signs/JJ are much better than Junoon, who are also a great band.
And whats up with Ali Azmat being a bad guy, can someone elaborate on that?

My vote goes for Adnan Sami Khan.
Junoon and Vital Signs are good, but their music will not age well. Salman can play the guitar pretty good (thought he gets carried away quite often) and Junaid can sing well, Ali is also good at what he does. But Adnan is a true musical prodigy, a genuis I think. His one song contains more ideas and inventiveness that a whole album by the other pop artists. So many layers and instrumens working together. Listen closely and you cant help but saying wow, how'd he think of that.
Plus he is a decent singer, very technical, and the only paki singer that can sing in english without embarrasing the listener. And he was doing the east/west tabla with western instruments experimentation long before Junoon or Talvin Singh. He deserves more recognition for his talents.

JUNOON'S SONGS HAVE MORE POWER, MORE EMOTION, MORE SOUL AND MORE HEART THAN THE POP CRAP DISHED OUT BY VITAL SIGNS AND OTHER POP BANDS eg AWAAZ etc.

well i rate this guy very high i dont know his name but he was one of the vocalist of awaz .and i heard his song the other day " tere bina dil na lage"
he sounds very much like the indian singter of yester years mahendra kapoor . i like this guy
