Ayub Khan was dumb stupid @$$. He was nurtured and educated by Bhutto when foreign minister. During Ayub's peak time, Bhutto left Ayub Khan and founded PPP. He was vocal against sitting, brutal, stupid, dumb @$$ dictator, unlike N$ who was busy with Zia-ul-Haq, who made him billionaire with in very short period of time, remained in power for 11 years till Zia was smoked out in to thin air.
Yahya Khan who took over from Ayub Khan on gun point in 1968, had absolute power, he should have called Mujib to form the government. But you know that west Pakistanis dominated by Punjab army and bureaucracy, pumped up by JI people and media, were never in a mood to hand over power to Bengali since partition. I don't know why you guys distort the true history of break up? why you blame Bhutto when he was not even in power at that time?
Can you explain how Bhutto groomed ayub? :) By the way who remained in power in Pakistan from 1947 to 1971? name any punjabi politician from 1947 to 1985. Even ayub was not a punjabi. Why did Bhutto threaten agitation in case of parliament meeting is called? He was against the six point formula of mujeeb, Infact the thinking of Bhutto and the military establishment was the same. How was he addressing the united nations four days before the partition and under what designation?

Is Abbotabad in Punjab? And are all the people living there Hindkowan/Potohari? He was a tareen, which is an ethnic pashtun tribe. Do your own research before making allegations, the problem Punjab faces is due to its sheer size/population. Maybe thats a problem but what can Punjab do about it? Another pointer for you, most of Pakistan army is from one division of Punjab, i.e. Rawalpindi. All these generals are also from the surroundings, if you visit other areas of Punjab you will not see many people in the army.

^ the two dictators were different, Bhutto became a victim of his desire to become all in all and choosing an incompetent person as COAS disregarding merit. If he had appointed some one on merit who knows he still might be alive now.
