The thrust of your discussion, as I see it, is that the entire range of our politicians is good for nothing and that we, as a nation and society, need to step in and right the wrongs to the best of our capacity.

While I agree with you that the leadership lot has definitely disappointed us in every walk of life, but the problem is that however organised and systematic the society maybe, but still it cannot funcation as a government. You always need a bunch of people in the corridors of power to make things happen. People cannot run a country, they are people elected by people who run a country and thus we need to have on the driving seat other than us as a nation or society.

I believe the politicians, no matter from which country they are from, they go with the pulse of the people, they play politics on the things demanded by the masses, be if corruption, roti kapra makan or Shariyat… if we as the people together start making a sound which calls for education reform and revolution through education then one of these politician is going to pick up that line and is going to make it his selling point and as we know, rest will follow the lead…

The vote power we have is strongest of all, even the likes of Ayoub, Zia and Mushy wanted it from us… so the sooner we recognize it the better it is for us..

The elimination of corruption is not going to happen until we as nation are educated enough, it will take some good time but that clock will only start ticking once we initiate the education movement..
