Mostar it's not the time to find past mistakes....let's show our solidarity with anyone who has taken a stand during these testing times...and surely ARY and Geo stood against this mad dictator.....and don't forget thousands of people who depend on these institutions for their livlihood>>>

Re: Let's do something positive today

.....and what about 160 million people being labelled as most dangerous nation in the world....because of adventures of this ambitious army and a mad man who is the head of the army...have you thought about the economic consequences this will bring for the nation in future>>>

Re: Let's do something positive today

Justice Hamid takes oath as LHC judge

By Our Reporter

LAHORE, Nov 19: Justice Mian Hamid Farooq took oath as Lahore High Court (LHC) judge on Monday under the Provisional Constitution Order (PCO) after recovering from a heart problem. LHC Chief Justice Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry administered the oath to Justice Farooq. All other LHC judges attended the ceremony. With this oath, the strength of the LHC judges rose to 21. Before promulgation of emergency rule, the high court had 31 judges. After promulgation of the PCO on Nov 3, it is the fifth ceremony in which a judge took oath of his office. Justice Farooq was born on Jan 3, 1947, and appointed additional judge of the LHC on May 2, 2001. He will retire on Jan 2, 2009, on reaching age of superannuation. He started practice in 1969 and enrolled as an advocate of the high court on May 13, 1971. He had also been secretary general of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan from 1999 to 2001.

I would also appreciate if anyone who knows about NGOs or has worked wit NGOs that are working for children tell us about them and about their experience. I read this report on BBC and i felt real bad.

Re: Let's do something positive today

Positive! My foot!

Jaloosi (anarchists who believe in the street protests) people can never do a positive thing.

The only thing positive from these guys is "if they don't do anything".

Re: Let's do something positive today

Should we also send flowers to the almost 50 Superior Judges that have now taken an oath on the PCO? ::D
