Let us become Mohammadi

No, it is not a new sect but only an intention of uniting the Ummah, because after Allah (s.w.t), MOHAMMAD (saw) is the only name that can re-unite the Muslim Ummah again as no matter which group a Muslim belongs to, he can’t deny the fact that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the most important personality in their life. I am sure if the Prophet (saw) were among us today, he would have advised us to focus on implementation of Quranic teachings and his Sunnahs in our lives rather then focusing on the differences among different groups of Muslims.

During this tough time on Ummah, when the enemies are attacking Muslims everywhere and disgracing them, the need of the time is to focus on the development of our own “Imaan” and appreciate common good aspects among ourselves rather then further increasing gaps between Muslims.** It would certainly be not a good idea if members of a family are fighting among themselves while the enemies are planning to remove the whole family from the face of earth. The arguments and conflicts between ourselves makes us weak and segregated, which is part of our enemy’s plan who are united against us and afraid of our unity.**

Unfortunately there are people like me among us who are always ready to jump into an argument to prove their own sect right and all the others wrong. They have also memorized related hadiths to prove their superiority over the other sects and think that they are doing a great service to Islam by spreading hatred for other sects, but their own lifestyle and daily life practices barely indicate their being an Ummati of the Prophet (saw) with any sort of love for his “Sunnah”.

Let us follow whichever sect convinces our heart but for the unity of Ummah let us not project the “TITLE” of any particular sect. Let us show ourselves ONLY the followers of ALLAH and the Prophet (saw), no one else.

p.s. I confess that I myself have also made mistakes of doing what I condemn here. May Allah (swt) forgive me for that. InshaAllah I would be more careful in future.

Re: Let us become Mohammadi

I see your point but I can't help but comment that

Muslims are not Mohammadis, they are simply muslims.

Lest we start man worshipping

e.g. Buddha kay followers "Buddhist", Christ kay followers "Christians" etc.

I heard that we should not label ourselves as Mohammadis. However, there's no doubt the position of Prophet Mohammad pbuh in Islam but we worship Allah and Islam is the chosen religion for us and we are known as muslims.

When Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his apperance) appears, we all will be united under one banner - Islam.
