Let me know what you think?

I have ordered this lengha for my wedding

i am 5"1 tall how long should the kameez be do u think?

for the walima my other half is looking to get this sherwani

so am looking to get this colour of blue and pink gharara do you think that could go and any suggestions pictures?

thanks in advance

Re: Let me know what use think?

where did u order your lengha from?

Re: Let me know what use think?

please no blue and pink :(
i've seen sooooooo many brides with this color combination on their walima

Re: Let me know what use think?

The lengha looks nice but i m not too sure abt yr color selection. Hmmm i have this feeling the posted dress wudnt look as nice on pink as it does in red. See, its not very heavy work already and in pink it wl look even less so i dont think you shud go for that color if u want a proper bridal look. I believe this dress wud look nice only on a darker color or shade. So if u r into pinks then go for fuschia? or shocking pink. Or why don't u go for green? but i think green is a totally off color for barat since most wear it already on mehndi. hmm.

Re: Let me know what use think?

i think length of kameez should be till knees because more long shirt will make you look short
i like this much length

n this will be too long

i like these two for valima

Re: Let me know what use think?

the 2nd one's lovely

i like the original lengha so keep the kameez long

the kaam on that shoulder looks a little bit feminine, don’t you think? :X

My mums friends getting it made from Pakistan, am thinking Karachi not 100% sure where though

it jus i want pink and he wants blue so thats y they decided blue and pink, wot abt blue and peach or any suggestions?

thanks for the suggestion am thinkin abt blue and pink for a walima and the red lengha at the barat, am thinking about a lipstick red

luv them both

yeh i was jus wondering cos of my height if a long kameez would look nice on me

I have ordered this lengha for my wedding

any more pics of this dress…luv the colour

If you're 'top-heavy' that type of kaam won't look too flattering.. for a person that's 5"1 that kameez is too long. Keep the length till right below your hips.

hey
if you want blue and pink
this would be lovely:

this is a very pretty way of doing blue and pink that doesn’t look juvenile.

Re: Let me know what you think?

i love the 1st and 2nd one and the 3rd one has a interesting and different colour combination…

back to the young girl that asked the question… like alot of others suggested i also feel that the colour selection wont do any justice to the cut of the outfit…maybe if u loose the pink n just kept baby blu or even like a navy kinda colur of blue like in the 3rd pic with silver kaaam and perhaps u could have bby blu crystals or something…

Re: Let me know what you think?

ive oli got afew month left till my wedding i havent even decided what im gona wear for my mehndi let alone wedding day or walima!!!!! its just tooo hard to decide......especially when uve got so many nice leghas out there but really an dtrully only 2main days wear u can wear them :(

Re: Let me know what you think?

  • Pink can easily added to this:

  • Yellow with this shade of blue looks really pretty and you’ll have two disninct looks if you wear red traditional for ba’raat.

Re: Let me know what you think?

Hey Rozyuk! Oh don't worry I am in the same boat! I am also 5'1 and I was also unsure of the length of my Lehgna shirt. Its actually similar to yours but I am keeping my shirt at a little above knee length. Long shirts are definitely in style, but I also want it to look flattering on me because I will just drown in anything too long. I think the length your thinking is totally fine. I love that outfit though, do you have more pictures??
