Lessons learnt

from this victory and last few matches. Alhamdulillah the result went in our favour. Was letting Bangladesh score 300+ attributed to

  • Flat track
  • Poor bowling
  • Bangladesh actually batted well
  • All of the above
  • Some of the above

Suggestions for course correction?

Re: Lessons learnt

I didn't watch our bowling but if Ajmal, Afridi are hit for runs then the pitch probably is to blame, I am sure there was some lacking in bowling/fielding too. Hafeez was probably the best with Econo rate of only 2.7 when everyone else on our side went for 6+ while BD bowlers went for 4+

Re: Lessons learnt

gul needs some chitrol, junaid is far far better than him

Re: Lessons learnt

I think Junaid was rested because he was not taking wickets but Gul was... but today he couldn't get any.

Re: Lessons learnt

juanid should be in final

Re: Lessons learnt

I didn't watch Pak bowling except some of the overs, and I think it was a flat track

Re: Lessons learnt

I think it happens once in a while and the balance of the bowling unit got disturbed when Rehman who was brought in place of Junaid bowled stupidly and got banned. It was pathetic what he did.

Re: Lessons learnt

  1. Fielding was poor. Rehman and Talha misfielded many times. Sohaib is also a liability in the field
  2. BD batted very well
  3. Gul was poor
  4. Placid track

Re: Lessons learnt

sohaib ko tu afridi ne aj sunai bhi thi, rameez said it seems as if sohaib is going for a walk wth the ball :p

Re: Lessons learnt

Junaid shouls play in the final

And Maana Charsi should be dropped
