Re: Lessons learned
I learn new lessons every day. As matter of fact I cant keep track of all that I learn.
So end up learning them again.
I mean if you are not too smart life is full of surprises. I mean at least life is not boring this way.

Re: Lessons learned
1- neever be too dependent on anyone/anything
2- sochna pare ga
Number 1: Never grocery shop when hungry.Number 2: When you screw up, the least you can do is admit it - if not to the whole world, to yourself at the very least.
1) Be careful who you trust. I've had enough negative past experiences with people breaking trust that now I'm more cautious.
2) Tolerance and patience are admirable but it's also important to stand up for yourself and what is right. There is no guarantee that issues will be resolved, but there is a personal strength and liberation that is gained when a person stands up for themselves and what is right.
Re: Lessons learned
1 ) NEVER make ANY expectations with ANYONE...
2 ) theres always a brigth morning after a long DARk Night...
Re: Lessons learned
3) Never make someone a priority when all you are to them is an **option..

^That's a good one, Kinzz. I AGREE. It's one of the quotes I really like. But alas, the heart has reasons that reason doesn't understand, lol :)

yes RV..i understand...but sometimes i feel that even if people make us thier option but still we think " oh its ok whatever they do..we are not like them"
and thats why its hard for us to uderstand...but trust me whenever i made someone my priority..i was just an option for them..and now i know that all good quotes comes from experiance :D.
^ That's right, Kinzz. Quotations become more meaningful for us when we can connect them with our own experiences.

Lesson 1 - Don't rely or put so much trust on anyone but yourself - People you think you know and love can really hurt you when you least expect it.
yaar this is so true!!!!
once that trust is broken it aches and you can never learn to fully trust that person again as memories are always there
another thing is we should always be happy for one another and not belittle or degrade someone or turn our family members agasint a certain person (which yaar happpens so much in my family)
i hate this thing so much. why cant people be happy for one another? i hate it when first cousins get together and turn agasint another cousin etc.
i thought my cousins had good hearts and could be happy for me...but a time came when i realised they dont care about blood relations or that i am there cousin. they couldnt care less who i am. they were so competitive and jealous especially at weddings and fam functions. they refused to share in other peoples happiness. but then these same people i noticed are so bitter about themselves and arent liked by anyone!
so you are right dont go round trusting people too much because you just get so hurt in the end
Re: Lessons learned
1) It is better to control oneself than others.
2) Never expect anything from anyone. Yes you can hope things will turn out a certain way, but do not turn that hope into expectations. Can cause a lot of unnecessary heartache.
3.) Never open-up with people
4.) Never forgive those that have hurt you.
5.) Be honest with urself and others.. and never interrupt someone that’s hurt u when they’re making a fool out of themselves.
CM :halo:
Re: Lessons learned
Lets truly learn from them, by not repeating them.....
6.) Stop being considerate and nice.. if people invite it.
7.) trust no one except u're immediate family..
That's all i can think of for now CM.. baaqi baad mein bataongi!
1) Never Trust Some Who Says They Can Never Be Rude To Anyone. I.e Great Heera
2) Heera Lal can be Rude somtimes. i.e. Referring To Respected Girls On G.S As characterless or prostitutes.
** Wase PHir Be Heera Apna Lal Hai. **
2 More Things I learnt:
1) No Matter How Low You Feel Or Are, There Are People Always Lower Or Sader Than You. You Should Always Be Grateful To Allah.
2) Paki-Borns Are Born To Use Others
3) CM Is A Not As Nice As He Seems.
Re: Lessons learned
I agree with your life lessons CM. Esp number 1, enjoy what you have instead of lamenting over what you dont have.
I'd like to add to the list,,,
3. NEVER give up. If you dont find the answers you need in one place then look in another. And another. And yet another. Till you find the understanding and answer to your question(s). Never give up. EVER.
