JazakAllah brother, Imam Zaid Shakir said the similar things in one of his lecture, he said a muttaqi(God-fearing) doesn't face fear(wars) and hunger by the rehma of Allah Ta'ala.
Living in peace with full belly is a great blessing of Allah, may Allah give us tawfiq to pray 5 times a day and make us pious.

wow @ the last part of the paragraph. Wish our leaders would know this and Pakistan wouldnt be at a situation where it is now. sigh
