I am relatively new on this site and still trying to learn it.
I am getting married juky end 2010 and need help with the following please:

  • A good and reasonable makeup artist. I like natural and subtle looks-- nothing loud.

  • My wedding dupatta is veryyyy heavy-- any suggestions or pix on what hairstyle is suitable for this or you know a place who is veryy good with the hair and dupatta set up?

** A reasonable and good photographer/videographer?

** What do you do on the mayun? Ubtan? What is the typical tradition?

** Any good stage decor people?

Try Zodiac Salon in Dubai, it’s around 1200 for bridal makeup, show them a pic and they’ll copy it, and their look is veryyy natural

for a heavy dupatta, tell your makeup artist to give your hair height through back combing or whatever they do to give them height :P...because otherwise your head might look flat which spoils the whole look.

Ghazala Mir is the best for bridal make up, she is a freelancer, but she charges Dhs 3000 for baraat and 2500 for valima, check out her website for pictures http://www.ghazala.smugmug.com/
