I know it’s pretty old but I just come across it whilst looking for random stuff and it got me wandering if it’s been made possible or not yet and if it’s been tried on a lesbian couple?
The little bit of knowledge I have from Biology and a failed AS Level is very rusty so I were wondering if it would be possible for a gay male couple to have a genetic child if a donor ovum was emptied of its genetic material and the empty shell was refilled with genetic material from two sperm cells (an X from each gamete) from one of the gay partners and then that ovum is fertilised with a normal XY sperm from the other partner and then that embryo is planted in a surrogate mother who can brood the child for nine months and then give it birth, I know I’m simplifying things but you get the idea, would it possible?
