Salaam, I seem to be stuck, basically I am looking to buy a lengha from a women in scotland and Im based in england. She sent me the designs and I chose the design I like but she said she only has a size 8 available in that particular design which I haven’t got a problem with. So I then asked her the exact measurements, everything else was fine such as the blouse, sleeve measurements but when she told me the size of the skirt meaning the lengha Im unsure whether to go for it, now the size she has said is 42, does 42 sound normal for someone of my height im 5ft 3inch
Re: Lengha length
I think you should take a trip up to scotland, its a fantastic place for a wee break, this way you can visit your supplier too. where abouts in scotland is she based?
Re: Lengha length
for 5:3 , 42 is too much. maximum 39 or 40 length is okay for this height with high heel.

She based in Edinburgh, its hard for me to get to scotland, which is why I am asking on the forum as many of you may have experienced problems with sizes seeing as the lengha length does not sound like british sizes at all
Re: Lengha length
i'm 5'10 and my skirt length is about 45-46. cant remember which one.
keep in mind, my heel length is low as well.
Re: Lengha length
well whats your pant length? your pants and your lehenga will be tied in roughly the same spot around your waist, given you don't wear those super low jeans. wear your wedding shoes and ask someone to measure you from waist to floor and that should be your lehenga length.
