Right, so I have been having lemonade daily, using freshly squeezed juice of one lemon…
In a hope that it will help me obtain a fresher looking skin … some people told me to use lemon juice on the face , but my skin is sensitive to it so i didnt use it, instead i chose to drink it as it also contains a good amount of vitamin C …
so far i havnt noticed any difference to my skin …
any one knows if lemons are any good for the skin and what other benefits do they have ?
-when squeezed in warm water it can act as an appetite suppressant
-it also cleans out the bowel..and prevents constipation-should be taken in early morning.
-rids body of toxins
**Quite frankly I do not think it works towards improving your skin tone or texture....I did this for years....1 freshly squeezed lemon in and glass of water at room temperature, 1st thing every morning....
It's a great weight lose regimen though! I was under the impression that this will prevent pimples in my teens....on contrary it made me skinny to the point of all bones :p....I was always slim to begin with so I stopped or else I would have become Anorexic!
I would says it didn't really do anything for my skin....one of the older ladies in family also said this combination is too acidic when taken on empty stomach thus making your bones weak and might cause stomach ulcer in long run! Plus it hurts your tooth enamel as well*...

Maybe adding a little bit honey might help....I personally couldn't do that cause honey made me break out**....*

I was told the same when I used to drink this concoction loooooong ago...However, I have read that drinking hot water first thing in the morning is good for the body because it helps flushing out all the toxins and that detoxification reflects on your skin too.
FOR SKIN: lemons are an excellent astringent and exfolient because of the amount of acid in them. if you have sensitive skin, try diluting it with cold water 50/50 and then apply with a cotton ball. i've noticed that this helps alot.
FOR WEIGHT LOSS: i've heard that if you drink a mug full of warm water with 1 tsp honey and 1-2 tsp of lemon FIRST thing in the morning it helps jump start your metabolism to help with digesting fat during the day. i dont know how accurate this is as i've never tried it!
oh and yes…i too heard that applying lemon juice helps lighten dark patches on your body.
also…I drank lemon water with a tsp of honey every morning for about a month or so…I noticed a difference in my skin (or maybe it was all in my head). I need to go back to doing that tho
lets all try it for a month and report back to this thread!
Drinking it is supposed to 'cleanse' u're system.. applying it directly onto u're skin fades blemishes. It's also used on the "t-zone" to combat oiliness.

how do we apply lemon juice on pimples? i mean applying directly may lead to hyper senstivity right?
