Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

no name Long shirt are really in these days .. i would suggest you to go for Long shirt .. like just tad bit over your knees
... embroidery on the kameez and plain lengha are really inn

Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

You can always have a jamawar/banarsi lehenga with a shirt that has kaam on it. Yes, even I'd suggest a longer shirt (firstly cuz longer shirts are in and secondly, so you can always wear the same shirt dupatta with azaar/shalwar too!)
And long shirts look so graceful! :)

Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

Thnx for ur suggestion....yes i m having a jamawar lehnga with embroided shirt...

i m 5'5"..n the shirt length i gave is 40"....it cums just a bit lower then ma knees...is that ok? or it should be a bit shorter...?

Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

oh thats ok .. thats the normal for kameezes on top of lenghas and ghararas these days

Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

okz :) thnx all.....i ws getting conscious bout the length , but seems its normal these days so hopefully it will luk good :)

Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

No the length you have given is perfect- usually with lehengas, its knee length or a little longer...
Hope it turns out great and dont forget to post some pics! :)

Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

thnx......... yup sure.... will show u pics of how it looked :)

Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

this much longer shirt or a lil longer with A line shirt and the shirt with embroidery on its chaak also with gharara how would it look like ??????

Re: Lehnga Design...current trend

It's sort of like pointed on the sides of the kameez and then you have kaam all over. This is very much in fashion. However, please take into account your height. When I went to try on wedding dresses since I was short my proportions looked weird with a long shirt and lengha so I decided to opt for a short kameez. If you have a decent height it will look great!
