I m getting a lehnga stitched for my frnds marrige next month…wts the length of shirt(choli) above the lehnga these days…?
My friend suggested me to go for long shirt till ma knees…but i dunno if thts in fashion or not…i tried to searched the net to find the current trend in lehngas but fome where there are short shirts some where long…m confused plz help me out
no name Long shirt are really in these days .. i would suggest you to go for Long shirt .. like just tad bit over your knees

You can always have a jamawar/banarsi lehenga with a shirt that has kaam on it. Yes, even I'd suggest a longer shirt (firstly cuz longer shirts are in and secondly, so you can always wear the same shirt dupatta with azaar/shalwar too!)
And long shirts look so graceful! :)
No the length you have given is perfect- usually with lehengas, its knee length or a little longer...

It's sort of like pointed on the sides of the kameez and then you have kaam all over. This is very much in fashion. However, please take into account your height. When I went to try on wedding dresses since I was short my proportions looked weird with a long shirt and lengha so I decided to opt for a short kameez. If you have a decent height it will look great!
