I need some expert advise please …

My friends lehenga , has some dabka work done on its borders … its the greyish/whitish kaam … she wants to get the lehenga colour changed , like dyed … from light blue to royal blue … is that going to affect the white kaam dabka?

It might.. she may have to cut-out the dabka "patti" and have it stitched-on to the new fabric. I blv dabka changes colors if it comes in contact with water/alcohol/perfume.
