If that was the case then Bush nor Blair had any legitimacy. Bush's election was deemed a fraud by half of the US as Gore won the popular vote and the whole hanging chad issue.

More so it was done in a state where his brother was in charge and they made some very dubious appointments which were seen as instrumental in getting Bush his presidency.

Would you then state that the 8 years Bush was in power was illegitimate?
