Soo, recently I’ve seen ads for a new pakistani designer boutique on devon st.
it has outfits from all your usual designers: HYS, karma, maria b., nomi ansari etc
I haven’t been there and I’m wondering if anyone here has seen or heard of this new store…
Any reviews? Is this for real?

i think you are talking about Studio elite. yes they have all the designers. buy pretty expensive.

Brought a Nomi Ansari from them. Crazy expensive....won't suggest buying from there if you can get one from the designer directly (Stuff is real for sure:)

Yea, Its studio elite. I actually know the owner and her daughter Abiha. No doubt the clothes are amazing and real designer pieces, but seriously they make too much profit. Its like paying 35% on top of what the dress originally would've costed from the designer. The only thing I've ever bought from them was a Gul Ahmed suit, she started with $130, and I had to bargain till 70$. I could've went down more but I didn't had time or any more energy.

i went to studio elite in ramadan. gorgeous clothes. but very expensive:(

I haven't bought anything from them though...haven't bought anything from Devon in ages now.

Not related to this shop but a friend actually went through something where a local retailer was providing a price for a designer suit that seemed excessive.
Friend boldly contacted the designer directly and explained how much the retailer was asking.
Designer sold the outfit directly to friend and at some point reached out to the retailer and asked why she was being so greedy......
Retailer got ticked off with friend and lost a sale.
More retailers need to learn the lesson not to gouge customers. A fair mark-up is fine but don't be taking advantage......

oh my god they are expensive, i went to buy some stuff of course for lady, i was better of buying gold then those dresses
