I saw this add on Ten Sports and there’s a program * LEGENDS *
i’ve seen two of 'em which were about Brian Lara and Murali.
and this week , we r gonna see Shoaib Akhtar in legends:halo:

he is sorta legend, the type of urban legend you know, you hear about it but its juts an urban legend.
he is the fastest and u've got to give him credit for that....
perhaps the most selling name there has been in cricket recently after lara and tendlia....
but u still cant help thinking of what poor selection criteria ten sports ppl have....

umm not yet but you can say this after 3 years.
well, lets wait and see after he has played 357 matches.....i doubt if he will ever be able to play 200 matches....

I agree that his name for sure will crop up whenever fast bowling will be mentioned in the history of the game, but at this stage of the game, the mention of the term legend with his name tends to border silliness.

He is the fastest ever. so it makes him a legend. If not him, ten sports would be showing Jeff Thompson special.
By the way, I dont think Shoaib is a good bowler.
