I made pasta on friday evening for my iftari and ended up making too much. I had it yesterday theres still a plate full left. Is there anything i can do to the pastaa to eat it today, or will i have to eat the same thing again???
Re: Leftover Pasta
You could make a cold pasta salad as side dish to your meal. Or invite over a couple 5 year olds and feed them the pasta.
Re: Leftover Pasta
Cold pasta salad?
What do i need for that.
i don't know any 5 years olds who'd eat it, i live in a student house
Re: Leftover Pasta
It depends on what sauce or other ingredients you added to the pasta as to whether you can reheat it or not.
If you don't want to eat it cold, you could try putting the pasta into a shallow ovenproof dish and pouring over a jar of ready pasta sauce (or make a simple tomatoe sauce yourself). Top with grated cheese and bake in the oven untill its heated through and the cheese has browned lightly.
Re: Leftover Pasta
i made keema, and i added that, and also a tiny bit of pasta suace. I reheated it and ate it yesterday, and it was fine, but 3 days in a row???
How about baked potato and pasta on the side. Would that taste ok?
Re: Leftover Pasta
I can eat pasta everyday, fedex to me... yum yum
on a side note, eat it after couple days, nothing would happen to it. If you are scared that it might get bad or something, just freeze and take it out when you feel like eating.
Re: Leftover Pasta
i ate it with baked potato. Didn't taste bad actually. Sorry Lusi maybe some other day
Re: Leftover Pasta
i think you can freeze pasta for the later use. if its only boiled... spread the pasta on a plate or some flat thing and pour some of the water in which you boiled the pasta. + some salt.. then u can freeze it..
But that's what i read somewhere, i havent tried it myself
