leftover creations

Re: leftover creations

it sounds like Choori. I am not confirmed about the exact recipe but choori is also made from the old roti, desi ghee and stuff

Re: leftover creations

I loovvvee choori

We make it like this -

Make rotis and then break them all up into 1 inch or less pieces heat some butter mix all the roti bits in to it
and keep mixing it with hands until all comes together then add sugar, mix some more and make them in to balls:)

Here is a pic of some i made a while back

Re: leftover creations

My mother used to add GURR/Shakkar to replace the sugar. Also try it with some Old roties, my grand mother said that choori tastes better when it's made from the left over Roti.

Re: leftover creations

Left over chicken can be used to make soup.

Re: leftover creations

These days my favorite "leftover" is to take baked salmon, mashing it up and making patties out of it. thanks to khattichic for that idea.

Re: leftover creations

Slight correction here, choori isn't made from old roti, its made from fresh (and hot) paratha made in desi ghee.

Re: leftover creations
