Leftover Chicken tastes funny..

Hi all,
Does anyone know why leftover chicken tastes different/not good? I’m not talking about 3-4 days old chicken…I have noticed the tastes changes the very next day after it’s refrigerated. Is there any way to avoid it from changing its original fresh taste?

Unfortunately you cannot do anything about it until you shred it and make it into new dish. I don't know but usually chicken's taste changes after 24 hours. It only tastes good when fresh.

erm ... I dont think anything can be done about it ... specially if its been cooked/fried in oil ... if its baked .. try heating it up in the oven or steam rather then the microwave .. that helps retain the fresher taste too ...

I have been trying to find some solution for many years but did not find any.
If it is cooked with lot of mirch masala , like qorma , chicken karahi etc it tastes good even after 3 days but if it is baked , fried , chicken biryani , chicken sabzi it tastes and smells funny.
Specially the leg parts . I do not eat it. My kids do not complain for some odd reason and eat it.
For me heating it into oven does not bring back the same flavor as the fresh cooked dish.
