My left upper eyelid has been twitching on and off since yesterday. I’m not stressed or anything. I checked WebMD and it say’s I’m dying 
. What could be the problem?

It's probably stress or lack of sleep. I remember a time when I was really stressed (during exams) and my diet was ****, my eye would twitch too. It was really creepy. But those days are gone :). Another reason could be that if you're you working out a lot? About 4 years ago, I was working out A LOT and lifting heavy weights, and my thumb would twitch randomly like an alien. And there was a muscle twitch/spasm or something throbbing in my upper thigh. I read online somewhere it could be due to potassium levels in your body? And coincidently, I had some blood tests done right around that time and I got a call I needed to go in immediately and get another one done...it had something to do with my potassium levels. Apparently if it's too high, yes, you could be dying (from what I recall). So eat up! bananas, white beans, kiwis...I forgot what else..
If you are eating bananas that means potassium was low.

Actually i don't remember what my results were. It was either too high or too low! But whatever it was, it wasn't good. But the twitches stopped after some time..
