Re: Lebanon fighting
Interesting:
Hezb is saying don’t touch.
In what, to me, seems to be related news:
Moqtada Sadr is calling for unity with Sunnis.
Interesting.

Re: Lebanon fighting
^waste of time
your too 'gujrati bhaiya' to discuss these matters. you leave how pakistanis react to certain issues to pakistanis!
Oh so not only are you a religious fanatic, you are also a racist. What other great personal traits do you have?
Anyway, looks you want to run away from the debate and answering my question. Your choice.
Re: Lebanon fighting
The "Desi Duplicity" that someone mentioned refers to the fact that Zia and Pakistani troops were responsible for the killing of at least several thousand Palestinian refugees during "Black September" when many of the refugees were being driven out of Jordan.
It may also refer to the rumors that mujahideen from Afghanistan offered (supposedly Israel) to go fight against and overthrow the PLO because the PLO was so closely aligned with the Soviet Union - an alliance they never benefited from.
Oh I know about the role Zia played in Jordan. Just one more reason why Pakistanis should butt into arab issues.
First time I'm hearing about the Afghan-PLO situation.
But this is really not desi duplicity but mullah duplicity as they are the ones who cry the loudest when Israel does something against Palestinians but are no where to be found on Arab on Arab or even Muslim on Muslim violence.
Re: Lebanon fighting

yeah right, my views are political not religious. but good try to malign inline with current trends of hindustanis like yourself.

if you want a debate then share your views. ive asked you numerous times. other then ridicule of other peoples views youve shared half a sentence on your own prospective.
its easy to see, with MQM extremists like yourself especially you as your a mohajjir seperatist believer, why karachi has seen so much trouble. you also share your nature with your hindu gujrati brethren. a lil dose of reality for you.
if you ever want to debate this issue with your own views then you are welcome. im sure the pak prospective will come out on top.
Re: Lebanon fighting
khekshen with this
and this
now run along to ahmmedabad where those whos lines you spout are waiting for you
Re: Lebanon fighting
Kid, my family was involved in the Pakistan movement before yours even knew what the word Pakistan meant. I have no idea why you are bringing up gujratis, hindustanis into this debate. We are talking about Lebanon and Palestine here, leave other discussions for other times.
You are pretty good at calling names to other people, but have no reasonable points to debate.
My views are clear. Arabs are hypocrites and Pakistanis (especially punjabistanis) should not get too involved with their problems when we have so many of our own.

this is the way to debate. i didnt mean any of them things. it was just to pull you out of your shell.
on the point of palestinians in arab countries, sometimes they take up arms and that causes problems which need to be dealt with. for me it really reinforces the need for a palestinian state.

You didn't mean any of these things? Who are you kidding? You are a well established racist like so many of your peers.
The problem is that Palestinians will not be content unless Israel is destroyed and that is why there never will be peace until the Palestinians accept Israel as their neighbours. Same goes for the extremists on the Israeli side. Either way, Pakistan should butt of this. It's an Arab problem due to their many lost wars.

and how involved are we?
musharraf recently made the softest of attempted contributions. offer rejected, move on. you yourself believe in a two state solution!

The government should adopt a neutral stance on the subject and you're right, Mush was put in his place by arabs. It's an arab issue. And pakistanis should stop protesting and burning israeli flags, it accomplishes nothing.
I believe in two states, but doesn't mean I support imposing this by force or support IDF or Hamas.
Re: Lebanon fighting
^ok so it does mean something. what?
you should follow your own advice and stay out of it. ie not support a two state solution

Zia was training the Jordanian Army when the Black September events broke out and he was asked to take control of the Jordanian 8th Division.
Pakistani Soldiers were not fighting along side Jordanians. It was just Zia who was asked to do this

The two state solution is the most neutral solution and the only one which does not call for the destruction of either side. In other words I hope Pakistan and Pakistanis will become neutral on the issue and not take Palestinians side all the time like we do now. Can you become neutral on this issue or is your hatred to much too hide?
Re: Lebanon fighting
^^ totally agree
Pakistanis are the most passionate people in regards to the Palestine after the palestinians

ooh neutral. is that because i guided you there?
what about the bus loads of people blown up by palistinians?
what is taking the palistinian side to you? if they have been wronged then why not support them. if they havent been wronged why not let the israellis have land and ask them palistinians to stop making a fuss?
what about the danger the israelli military might posses and the longterm consequences of this danger to the wider muslim world? one of the instances of this was 1985 - the planned blowing up of pak nuke plant @khushaab. you might not focus on them but they have you in focus.
what about iran? should they hold their development for israel to feel secure?
what about the faillure to date of any meaningful resolution? mr t-shirt, jeans and chappal you are involved. theres no carpets to push it under.

Just take it easy and remain neutral. No need to get so emotional.

you seem to be supporting both sides and condemning both sides
and by the way that Israeli plot to blow up the Pak Nuke Plant is a myth
Re: Lebanon fighting
you seem to be supporting both sides and condemning both sides
of course everyone can see both sides of the conflict. the need for a resolution is a must as you can see the potential for destruction is so much.
this conflict will go on and on until a settlement is reached. palestine is more powerful then its current plight might suggest.
Re: Lebanon fighting
look at the pathetic lebanese army, those cowards were nowhere to be seen when their country was being bombed to hell by the israelis last summer but now theyre all out there killing their own countrymen
