I think maybe parents might be glad their kids leave home too :) When the kids move out, they can put themselves first, enjoy each other, travel at the drop of a hat, have financial freedom. Especially since now they are probably at a time of life that they are financially secure so they have so much freedom about what to do, where to go.
But I wonder how desi parents deal with their kids leaving because for them, for decades they have identified themselves as mom and dad first, man and woman second. I guess many would be depressed.
