All of us do a lot of shopping in routine Most of the times we check reviews online to save ourselves from disappointments after buying a certain product. Do you also leave reviews of your purchases ? How important do you think is to write a review ? How about feedback to a seller if you love your stuff ? (we always rush back if there is a problem but do we rush to thank/encourage the efforts as well?)
How many of you actually take out time and value the importance of feedback/reviews ?
i always write a review on facebook. i order from Malaika Adnan and every time i without fail praise her work and creativity. i think its important that we do let the sellers know as a lot of hard work and running around goes into creating even a simple outfit. There a few others that i order from and if i am pleased i share with everyone, if i am not satisfied then i don't really go public with it, i just deal directly.
Never had a situation where the seller has not corrected any issues, so no need to go public.
I make online purchases all the times. Not necessarily dresses but other stuff, mostly for personal use. Always write a review if its good. Recent facebook feature of a five star rating system has helped the process a lot. Some of the recommended sites are Order Food Online | Karachi Lahore Islamabad Rawalpindi | Foodpanda.pk - though the timeline mentioned on their site is different by 15 min or so, the website functionality is great and you do get food delivered. Home - DealToday.pk - The best deals in town - they probably have the best deals in Pakistan. I wouldn’t purchase furniture on deal but rest is all great so far.
A very recent purchase was a magic mug (personalized) on Dexpel.pk - Pakistan’s #1 Online Print Shop their price is slightly higher than other facebook providers but the communication was excellent so I went ahead. The product is great as well.
i recently searched for reviews on "online airline bookings"...and found out that MOST reviews are entered by unhappy/unsatisfied travelers who speak of their horrid experiences while majority of satisfied customers never leave their comments/reviews.
i was surprised to see hundreds and thousands of bad reviews/complaints about reputed websites like "Expedia.ca" , "Travelocity.ca" and "Priceline.com" while a very few from satisfied travelers.
i always buy my airline tickets from Expedia.ca and Travelocity.ca and never had a problem and as a result never bothered to leave 'my two cents'.
**this gives you the impression that most online travel websites are "crooks" which is NOT true.
i think one should pay some attention to bad/negative reviews but should not be swayed by them.**
^ I am trying to find out if anyone takes out time to write a positive review as well ?
that's the problem with most of us...we are so happy that we forget that lol...
i never did.
i leave comment cards when i fly Air India in order to get a good service. :D i ask for the comment card as soon as i board the plane...the flight attendant is careful then on...it always works with me...i get good service...and, i leave a good comment and hand it over to the girl so she can read it. :)
First two times they just cancelled the order (one COD and another paid via credit card) Their website has some issues where inventory doesn't get updated properly. (which means an out of stock item can be ordered but they cancel that order later)
Anyway some of their sales are just too tempting to ignore so placed an order third time. :D The overall sales process is quite efficient.
I like to buy things online & usually i have experienced that peoples never take time to comment on the products, although it is very important for the online customers as well as online shopping stores that we comment on their products, so that they could know how to provide better options. I suggest every one should post comment on websites from where the buy the required products online.
