Is it ok to ask for a 1 month leave when you have just been working for 3 months with an organisation?
Re: leave?
In my honest opinion, no, it is the worst thing you can do to your job specially if it is important for you, asking for a 1 month leave after such a short tenure at work is equivalent to giving in ur resignation :k:
Re: leave?
If you are so important for them that they need your talent to be integral part of their organization and will give in to all your demands. By all means go ahead ask for that leave and enjoy your powers.
Re: leave?
a month long leave is a very big deal even for people who are settled in their jobs for years... so for a new hire who's just completed a probationary 3 month period, it's really really hard to justify such a request.
Re: leave?
if it is important, request that leave - or you can take it as unpaid leave
Re: leave?
I had mentioned it to my manager when she was appointing me that I would be taking a 1 month course for which I will have to go to another city.
The only problem is that will be the most busy month:bummer:
If you can arrange for a substitute who can do what you are doing for a month , like your sister , friend or cousin, you might be able to pull this stunt off.
Great information, thank's!
Even though it’s not a very positive thing to do when you start a new job, I would say that in your case it should be ok, because you have already made it clear at the time of your appointment.
It would be a different story if it would hit them as a total surprise.
nice idea
