So the kid was dying for a leather jacket that she saw at the outlet…she has seen the price marked as $449 and didn’t have the nerve to ask for it.
She tried and tried to find another that fit/looked the same in a lesser price range but couldn’t.
We found that it was on sale (marked down to $224) and then another 25% off so I figured, what the heck. Let’s get it.
At the same time I found a blazer that I liked and managed to negotiate the discount to 35% off if we bought two.

Now I need ideas on how to wear this…so come on GS stylists…give me some ideas…
Tons of options! But the first assumption is that you’re wearing the jacket in the fall/winter.
Skinny jeans, with an a-line/draped chiffon shirt (on the longer side), knee-high-boots.
Boot-cut jeans/can also be worn with straight-leg trousers; button down-shirt and a fitted pull-over or even a buttoned-up, fitted cardigan (one that adds a pop of colour).
Pencil skirt; opaque tights; bright-coloured belt (skinny or wide); drapey-blouse (I like silk, satin or chiffon); knee-high boots or pumps
Because the jacket is black, you can combine virtually any colours with it, but I would stick to dark coloured jeans and trousers.
For the blouse and the sweaters – I would go with bright colours – red, burgundies, bright pinks, yellows, burnt orange, bright greens, turquoise, purples – but really saturated coloured.
I usually wear my leather jackets with just about anything. They are so versatile..it’s awesome. Mine are more "biker"jackets with multiple zips and all that fun stuff. For the kid, i’d totally style it like this:
