try hairspray directly on to the sofa and soft cloth to gently rub away the stain,this usually works on my leather sofas.

thanks.....I have a feeling that the leather care products are not going to work.....fortunately its not a huge mark but it is very visible.....and she's just terrorized by the male parental unit seeing it when she was told not to do homework on the sofa......
let me try the hairspray and then I'll resort to more drastic measures like goo gone et al......fortunately its not a coloured sofa that will lose pigment if I use a harsh cleaner....

I once tried nail polish remover on my tan colored leather sofa.It ruined it...:(
Do you have a protection plan or something like that..?I have a 5 year protection plan, and I have had a few ball point stains.They come and do a touch up matching with whatever shade the leather is.It works great to hide the stains.But mine were very tiny ones,not sure how it will work if it is a bigger stain/mark.
Wouldnt nail polish remover burn the leather?!?

I think nail polish remover will be a little too harsh on leather.
