I think the reason most of us do not find this to be true is the irrelevancy of our learning experiences. If it’s something you care about, it opens up the whole other dimension.
So if you had to write a research paper or conduct a research and had the freedom to choose any topic, what question would you like to answer, or what would you like exploring?
Remember we are talking about something empirical; something approachable as a student.
I’m assuming those of us who are Pakistanis may have strong inclination to explore and explain something about our nation, people, culture/s, etc. It could relate to Islam or to being a human being. You get the idea.
Whatever it is, what it is that will get you excited?
