Learning from the Nazi's? - Israeli tear gas kills Palestinian baby

They poison Palestinian babies to death, while all the while Jewish fanatics build their illegal settlements on occupied Palestinian land, and carry out a terror campaign against the Palestinian’s.

When will the world start taking action against these terrorists and murderers?

Baby dies as Israel reimposes curfew

A 14-month-old Palestinian baby died yesterday, apparently overcome by tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers reimposing a curfew in a crowded Palestinian market area in the divided city of Hebron, doctors and witnesses said. The Israeli military said it was checking the report.

Also yesterday, four people were killed in Gaza City when an Israeli helicopter fired a rocket at a car, paramedics said. One car was demolished and another damaged in the attack, in the Sheik Radwan neighbourhood. The identities of the dead were not immediately known.

The baby’s death came as an Israeli opposition leader, Yossi Sarid, labelled Jewish settlers in Hebron “the ugliest stain on the Zionist enterprise” and described the West Bank town - where 500 Jewish settlers guarded by Israeli soldiers live among 130,000 Palestinians - as hell. “Hebron has turned into hell, a security hell, a political hell and, more than anything, an ethical hell,” Mr Sarid, leader of the Meretz party, said.

***The baby who died, Gharam Manaa, was in the market with her grandmother when the tear gas hit, witnesses said. She was taken by ambulance to Alia Hospital, but a doctor said she was dead on arrival. ***

Meanwhile, Jewish settlers inaugurated a new settlement on Wednesday a few kilometres north of Nablus. The Deputy Minister of Interior Security, Guidon Ezra, went to Rehalim to congratulate the settlers for “their determination in their struggle for the integrity of the land of Israel”, a spokesman said. Although the Government does not intend to recognise the wildcat settlement, which now has about 100 residents, it financed the construction work. “Rehalim is the symbol of our success at a time when there is talk of dismantling so-called illegal settlements,” he said, referring to a call by the Defence Minister, Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, for all outposts and wildcat settlements in the West Bank to be destroyed. In Ramallah a curfew was relaxed for the first time in 12 days on Wednesday. While Israeli forces kept the Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat, confined in his headquarters, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, exhausted by the longest unbroken curfew imposed on the city since June, flocked to buy food and supplies.

Fatima Musleh, 55, a mother of seven, ran out of food after the family ate its last box of lentils at the start of this week. “They [Israel] made us starve,” she said. “They kill our sons and demolish our houses. Why don’t they leave us alone?” Israel says it cannot curb militants responsible for bombings without curfews and blockades on access routes to West Bank towns. Palestinians call the measures collective punishment that has shattered their livelihoods.

Sad... It hurts the most when innocent children die...

The Israeli army has killed around 1900 Palestinian's in the last two years, including over 350 children. That is murderous terrorism on a grand scale, yet some continue to fund these terrorists. Palestinian babies are still poisoned to death by Israeli gas, but still no protest - the double standards and hypocrisy is shocking.

Not only fund but diplomatic, political, moral and military support of this cancer, if you will, in the Mid East. In a perfect world, the center of universe would not be US and axis of evil would be the Jewsish state.

Death of a child is wrong. Be it israel or palestinain, but sadly not everybody sees it like that.

Awful.

Here’s another article by a Jewish writer, Ian Katz; very old article, though. Ian first visited Israel when his parents took him there as a reward for his barmitzvah. His reflections on his most recent visit might be food for thought.

Did we do this?, The Guardian, 24 May 2001

Thats a very telling and factual article Nadia, stating the uncomfrotable truths that most Israeli people do not want to acknowledge. For now the Israeli army may get away with atrocties like poisoning Palestinian babies to death, among their many other atrocities but sooner or later Israel will have to face reality. If it wants to survive and continue to prosper it must acknowlege the right of Palestinians to live in complete equity with Israel. The Palestinians will never submit to Israeli occupation and colonialism, and they will break free one day. It is better Israel recognises that now rather than later.

They will never give up, and with proper rulers in the Islamic world, they will taste freedom denied to them for so long. It is us vs them as bush put it. Just as the death and law means nothing for Al-Qaeda. The faith of the israeli people is irrelevant if the Palestinian people are subjugated.

Inshallah. But Israel will most likely continue to gas Palestinian babies until then. So tragic.

True, Malik.
But “complete equity” seems to be two words the meaning of which the IDF is completely unwilling to comprehend. Another child added to the list of victims - or is it collateral damage?

Palestinian girl shot dead in Gaza, BBC, 8 October 2002

There has been more violence in the Gaza Strip, with Palestinian medical staff saying a 12-year-old girl was killed by Israeli fire in the southern town of Rafah. The Israeli army has not commented on the reports, but military sources confirm its forces were in the area. They are said to have opened fire after coming under attack.

The incident comes the day after a major Israeli incursion into the Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis in which at least 14 Palestinians were killed. The Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, has expressed regret over civilian deaths, but described the operation as a success.

The United States has continued to put pressure on Israel over the attack, in which it was reported that a missile was fired into a civilian crowd. “We are in touch with the Israelis to tell them that they have to examine their actions with great care, to avoid this kind of loss of life which does not further our efforts to find a peaceful solution,” US Secretary of State Colin Powell said. “We are concerned about this level of civilian casualties and the consequences for this kind of activity,” he added.

On Tuesday the head of the International Committee for the Red Cross, Jakob Kellenberger, said that the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian Territories is at its worst since Israeli occupation began 35 years ago. “The humanitarian situation has never been as bad as it is now,” he said, warning that 50% of the population had fallen below the poverty line.

Doctors at the main hospital in Rafah say that the 12-year-old girl was killed by a bullet from a heavy machine-gun. Reports from the area say that two tanks opened fire while they were patrolling the edge of the town. The BBC’s correspondent in Gaza, James Rodgers, said the area is the scene of frequent clashes between the Israeli army and Palestinian fighters.

Earlier on Tuesday Mr Sharon expressed regret over the deaths that occurred in Khan Younis, but he also defended the raid and vowed to press on with more military operations in the area. “We have to take into consideration that the Israeli forces are making every effort to contain raids and attacks by terrorist organisations,” Mr Sharon said.

Fourteen people were killed in Monday’s raid and doctors reported that two more died of their injuries on Tuesday. Palestinian militants have vowed to avenge the raid, and in an apparent response on Tuesday a Jewish settler was shot dead and several others wounded near the West Bank town of Hebron.

Another Palestinian child shot doen in cold blood, and another Israeli terrorist atrocity. Once again there will no condemnation, and the leaders of such terrorists (the Israeli army) will be called "peacemakers".

Another child dead and nobody cares. When stuff like this happens, i feel like the only choice is the complete eradication of the culprits

Terrorism is terrorism. But when it is Israeli terrorism its called "peace making" by the American's, and then they turn round say why nobody supports them in the world?

these israelis are really sick in the head :frusty2:

But our anger should not be directed at only america we know they protect israel and treat them like a king we should expect this from a capitalist nation like america which does things for benefit only.

Our anger should be in the right direction which is at the corrupted regimes in our lands who allow the armies to sit in there barracks shining there tanks and allowing america to launch war from muslim land to attack iraq and afgahnistan!

Israeli terrorists kill two more children in occupied Palestine.
