Learning cooking from scratch

So…

All the chefs out there…i am a rookie…i will be learning the house hold management but primarily cooking..

so i am starting full time training under my mom after 17 Dec…

so i need some good (co-ordinated) step by step sort of a plan on how i progress slowly…

so its an opportunity for you cooking specialists to devise a ‘lesson’ plan for me to follow (which will be based on your own experiences **of **learning ..or teaching may be)

So here is what you will have to work with..

Kid in early Twenties. GUY…only knows how to lit up the burner, make tea, and heat of slices…thats it…

so…please take it as a project…and i will be forever thankful to you…ever..

So its 1 month…and you can think about the planing n stuff..

Re: Learning cooking from scratch

Some claim they don’t have the time, nor the talent, for preparing meals at home and for many the act of eating has little to do with enjoyment and more to do with simply providing themselves with sustenance as they whirl through their busy lives. some girls think that they r too young or immature so they proud on it that they cant cook but every girl should know how to cook at least the basics. Cooking can be as simple or as complex as you choose to make it. Cookbooks, magazines, and television shows all strive to make this point by teaching fast and easy ways to prepare great dishes and meals. A basic understanding of food and cooking techniques goes a long way and once you have the basics down it is just a matter of accessibility to ingredients, personal taste, and your ability to build upon what you know to determine what it is you will prepare.

start watching Cooking channels thats where i have learn and improve my cooking skills. Watch english food channels e.g BBC Food or desi channels lik Masala Food but start from some point and earlier is ther better. Some online cooking episodes for you at this site .

Re: Learning cooking from scratch

NomiCA, I will help you.
There is however a condition.
You must follow each one of my instructions right down to the last letter. Even if what I say makes no sense and doesn't seem connected to cooking at all, you must still obey - as every training montage themed movie has taught us; the teacher knows best, the student must not question, for all will be revealed at the end.
What say you?
