I want to learn urdu. can anyone tell me any site froom where i can learn urdu online. i am a punjabi (indian) and i know hindi so i can understand urdu but i want to read and write urdu language.

They have the urdu qaida in flash and its really helpful to start off with the urdu alphabets and some other programs in urdu.

to read and write, a paper support would be more advisable, as most online ressources are either in english or romanised urdu…unfortunately internet is not very nice way to spread urdu script…

but i want to warn you, urdu script is far more difficult to master than devanagari…good luck in your learning!
