Such kinds of unnatural and unholy alliances suggest that something is being cooked by intelligence agencies, pumping huge amount of money illegaly in such stupid alliances to befool people for all the time. Examples “Nine party alliance so called 9-Stars” by mardood Ziaul-Haq, IJI by ISI, MMA by Musharaf etc.

Leagues unify, but N&Q stay out
KARACHI, Oct 29: Leaders of four factions of Pakistan Muslim League have decided to form a Muttahida Muslim League under the leadership of veteran politician Pir Pagara after their merger. However, the parties will retain separate identities till the unification and completion of constitutional formalities and will be called PML Alliance.
Talking to reporters after a meeting of PML-F, PML-Likeminded, PML-Z and PML-Awami here on Friday, Mr Pagara said that a nine-member steering committee, headed by former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, had been formed to draft a policy framework.
Asked if the Muttahida Qaumi Movement would be invited to join the alliance, he said the PML`s unity was essential for the country, avoiding mentioning the MQM. “We will invite all parties to join hands with the Muslim League to steer the country out of the present difficult situation.”
Mr Pagara said that Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat would also be asked to join the alliance.
In reply to a question, he said neither had they had any contact with PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif nor did they try to contact him. “Our efforts will be to bring all Leaguers into one platform. But if they don`t like to join us, we are also not anxious about it,” he added.
When his attention was drawn towards Gen Musharraf`s Muslim League whose representatives left the meeting without joining them for lunch, Mr Pagara said that until they called themselves Muslim leaguers, “we will continue to think about them”.
He said that there had been no accountability, but now it would be.
In reply to another question about the possibility of his party quitting the government, Mr Pagara said no such move was under consideration.
Asked why leaders of the PML-Q did not attend the meeting, he said he had called Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, but he talked about some “compulsions” and said they would join them at a later stage. Speaking at the meeting, the PML-F leader said that hitherto Leaguers were divided into factions, but now they were united.
Pir Pagara said the country had been pushed to the brink by those who had no role in the creation of Pakistan. He said the alliance would be run with mutual consultations as the days of one-man show were over.
Efforts would be to unify the PML and form government after winning elections, ha added.
Zafarullah Jamali said the country was facing hard times and everyone had to give sacrifices for unity and those who did not show any flexibility could not forge ahead in politics.
Shaikh Rashid, the chief of PML-Awami, said that November and December were crucial for political decisions, warning the opponents of PML unification that a divided League would benefit rivals.
Hamid Nasir Chattha expressed the hope that Muslim League unification would steer the country out of crisis.
