Brian Burke must be hoping against hope that his latest trade with Flames will work out. Leafs are in the toilet, not going to make the playoffs, have exchanged one set of losers against another set. How does that change anything?

Come on man...how can you say one set of losers for another!! Phanuef is anything but that....and he was loved in Calgary and sure his stats aren't the great this season but wherever he goes he packs a punch!!! I was so pissed when i heard....what was sutter thinking when he agreed to this trade....we don't want TO's handmedown forwards...
The only thing that changes is the fans jersey's....everyone has a phaneuf one....

If you are a Flames fan, you must wonder why Phaneuf had all the promise and no results. What was his plus/minus again? Just 3? That for a guy who pulls down 6.5 really big ones?

Yea well you know when you don't really get along with the coach...its hard to get results! But he is a great player...and will prob turn things around for TO...its about time they got someone with skill!
