more importantly, if such thing do occur, how can the perceptual negativity against Islam an Muslims as a severe damage, can be curtailed effectively?

maybe putting him in front of a firing squad will discourage others to do such a foolish thing.
as for negativity against islam...well let Allah worry about that. muslims have better things to worry about like arranging live kishore kumar concerts in janat and crying for israelis facing aggression at the hands of the damned palestinians.

This guy need psychiatric help probably. He should be sent to psychiatric prison & kept there until he is considered normal & not endangering public peace.

It is US Federal Crime to put anything other than US postal mail in anybody's mail box by anybody other than Postal employees. So this guy was not caught because he put flayers for converting to Islam because of any prejudice of those complaining and making arrest . He was caught for violating federal law and then other stupid acts after confronted. As I read it.
