I am not judging and generalising. But I have known few cases in my friends circle. Yes this is happening in Pakistan too. There was a guy (Muslim) and a girl (Christian). They were together for sometime with no intention of getting married. When the guy’s mom asked him to get married, he just broke up with the girl, the girl was ok, she moved on, the guy proposed another class fellow after consulting his mom.

Having bf/gf is the latest trend in Pakistan I heard and if a guy/ girl doens’t have a gf/ bf, he/ she is not considered coool. Only a minority of them would have marriage in their mind when they engage in such relationships.

Who told you that they didn’t have any intention to get married? :khums: May be they really worked hard to convince their families for each other.. WE cannot say that they just flirted with each other to time pass without any solid evidence.

But yes there are many cases where girl or guy just fool around or time pass by playing with other’s emotions. Either it is girl or guy… they should be honest with their relationship. If they don’t have any intention to get married they should clear it to their partner. Otherwise it is totally wrong. Because they should not forget that there could be “Mukafat-e-Amal”

Who is using who? I am not sure....I think it works both ways. Anyway if you mess with fire then you know that you may get burn't. Thats the risk that you knowingly take. So long as they know what they could possibly be in for, leave them to their fate.

People are saying that if there are blokes out there who choose to date girls and then expect marriage acceptances from them deserve the rejections because they shouldn't have been messing around with the girls before marriage anyway. But I say the girls who lead on and accept gifts only to turn around and say "see ya later" were themselves muddying their own hearts and characters and such people can see themselves in situations where it backfires - i.e. the girls get a bad rep and then no one proposes to them or the girls can find themselves on the run with men they've helped turn in to monsters who desire them but can't get them will be looking over their shoulders to hide from them those men they lead on can become stakers or may do something else to take revenge for being played.

Its both morally and religiously unethical to play with the emotions of a human being... iMO it is the worst sin you can commit....baaqi koi gunaah karoge toy shayad Allah mwaaf bhi karde par deliberately playing with emotions/life of a human being ... Whether ur a guy or a girl is completely unacceptable...no human has the right to do that to another. And those who do should be verrrrrry afraid of karma...

i dont know why we dont respect each others. if you dont want to marry them, its fine but dont play with anyones emotion.

we make sky our limit, but we forget that there is another sky beyond this one, and another one and another one. this search of "bay say bheter" never stops. and even if we find a perfect match of our ideal, we don't know whether he/she will always be like this? in fact we dont even know whether his/her perfection is for us or for someone else?

you can search countless threads in life1 where after a decade still people dont know anything about their spouse.

or may be confront them...may be they are just after material.
