LCD TV damage

Our place got flooded the other day…teh water was really high about calf length, and it definitely touched the TV.. this (the flooding) happened twice earlier this month and both times the TV was fine but this time it won’t turn on but the stereo and stand-by lights are on not blinking but solid]…anybody know what i’m talking about or has been through this, any advice will be welcome…

Leave your TV off in a warm place for few weeks, let the water dry and most likely it will start working.

Re: LCD TV damage

yes leave it at dry and warm place and dont power it on for few day

Re: LCD TV damage

Yep , even turn a fan on to make it dry faster, make sure you do not turn it on for at least a week. Do not put it under the sun or do not use a heater or hair dryer to make the drying process faster. If this does not work out , let us know and we will think of something then. Good luck.

Re: LCD TV damage

now put some fishes inside it, you can use it as an aquarium :omg:
