LCD Monitor

I am in the market for a decent LCD monitor.

The selection comes down to one out the following two

Which one the two would u rather prefer and why?

Re: LCD Monitor

wide wuld be better ... movies n games.

normal use .. go for the cheaper one.. but keep in mind Q aint as good as old school CRT as yet .. when watching movies u can tell the diff .. make sure ur a DVI output on ur card ... to get the great qualiyt but still aint compared to a CRT . peace

Re: LCD Monitor

Quality is not as good as the CRT? Thats news to me.

my lcd at work sure looks crispier than CRT at home.

Re: LCD Monitor

If you are running LCD at its native resolution through DVI, the quality is good.

However, because of much higher response time compared to CRTs, LCD screens are not good for playing games or watching movies. You will be able to observe motion blur on the LCD screens.

Sharpness: LCDs are better. Colour/Contrast: CRT are better.

UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1 looks like a better choice though make sure that your graphics card supports it slightly odd resolution!
